A youth group for Grades 7 and 8 at St. James Church

Mission Statement

YouthinC. Is a ministry designed to deepen the experience of “Gift and Mission” in our 7th and 8th gradeparishioners.  Participation in the ministry will lead the youth to:

• Recognize and reverence God’s presence within themselves and others;
• Experience God’s care from and with each other;
• Commit to habits that deepen their relationship with God;
• Help each other grow in appreciation and understanding of their faith;
• Share their gifts within and outside their faith community;
• Reveal God’s love, healing, and forgiveness in their daily actions; and
• Live the radical demands of the Gospel.

This ministry is designed to be a natural outgrowth from the Faith Formation the youth are receiving in classes.
