St. James Parish provides many opportunities for our parishioners to work within different faith study programs, allowing them to deepen and grow in their own spiritual life, as well as the faith life of others.

Volunteer Catechist Program For Religious Education

(please click catechist image for important program dates)

Catechists are needed for the Religious Education Program for grades one through eight.  At St. James we strive to 'echo' God's voice and move away from merely teaching Him as another interesting subject like history or biology.  We do this because God's love and grace are real, present and active in His Church today. Training is provided for all catechists, along with course curriculum and excellent resource materials. The Schedule follows academic year from October through May.
